While hunting i took a walk. It was very hecktec, there was so many thought shooting through my mind, I had to many worries. While walking i decided to take a moment and just sit down and be quiet for a second. I ended up sitting there for thirty minutes almost cause it was so peaceful. For one of the first times in my life I heard nothing. The only sound i heard was the cold winter wind whistling through the bushes around me. There I sat and prayed and asked God about my worries, struggles and problems. For one of the first times in my life i felt like i was talking to God and not a genie in the sky, as how I treat him sometimes. We talked about everything, my past, the present and my future. In the fast paced season of Christmas i found peace in my problems.

  1. Wooooowwww, really??? That is so cool Sam!

    That is SUPER RADICALLY COOL.

I've found that God doesn't try to compete with our massive speakers or piles of distractions. He waits for us to be quiet, and then-- the "still small voice" is heard.

Just writing that made me sigh with relief. So glad you found this moment, Sam.

Also, "hectic" is spelled thus. :)
